Gary Neville explains why Manchester United won’t finish in top four
Manchester United legend Gary Neville believes Manchester United won’t finish in the top four in Erik ten Hag’s first season as manager of the club.
According to Neville, Manchester United’s squad is not good enough to finish in the top four despite the signings of Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez and Christian Eriksen.
However, Neville believes the Red Devils can finish in the top four if Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong and a striker is signed by the club before the end of the transfer window.
“I don’t think United with their current squad will finish fourth, but if they bring De Jong and a striker in it’s a different story,” Neville said.
