Manchester United legend Lou Macari has slammed the club for the pursuit of Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot.

Manchester United have reportedly reached an agreement with Juventus to sign Rabiot for £15million with the fee rising to £20million.

Macari told MUTV: “I’d never really heard of him. Clubs spend millions of pounds scouting players across Europe, but nobody else has made a move for this fella. Why do you think this is? I have got a bad feeling about the guy.”

Meanwhile, transfer expert Dean Jones has revealed £35million PSV attacker Cody Gakpo is gettable for Manchester United.

Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “I have seen Leroy Sane linked, but they don’t feel like he’s that gettable at the moment.

“It wouldn’t surprise me if United do try and get Gakpo, though, because there could be something to be done there.”
