Current Manchester United first choice goalkeeper  David de Gea is out of contract at the end of the season, although there is an option for a further 12 months.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly not totally convinced by De Gea and is already looking to sign a top-level goalkeeper next summer.

According to Jeunes Footeux via The Sun, Manchester United are targeting a move for Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Oblak has a £105million release clause in his Atletico Madrid contract and has made 360 appearances for La Liga giants, keeping 177 clean sheets in the process.

Oblak, 29, is out of contract at Atletico Madrid at the end of the current campaign and could be available for a cut-price fee in January or on a free in the summer if he doesn’t sign a new deal.

It’s claimed the Red Devils are even prepared to double Oblak’s wages to £300k-a-week in order to lure him to Old Trafford.
