Leicester ready to sign £120,000-a-week Manchester United star in January

Leicester City, who finally got their first win of the season in a 4-0 drubbing of Nottingham Forest on Monday night, are interested in a January move for Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek, according to Sport Witness.

Leicester are open to selling Youri Tielemans, whose contract at the King Power Stadium runs out at the end of the season, in January and have identified Van de Beek as an ideal replacement for Tielemans.

Leicester reportedly want to sign Van de Beek on loan in January with an option to sign the midfielder for €15million.

Van de Beek has failed to make an impact at Manchester United since joining from Ajax in the summer of 2020. The 25 year old midfielder is yet to make an appearance for Manchester United this season.

It is believed Van de Beek ‘isn’t giving up on imposing himself in the Premier League’, and perhaps a club like Leicester ‘could allow him to find more game time’.
