According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports, PSV forward Cody Gakpo is keen on taking the next step in his career by joining Manchester United.
The 23 year old forward has scored 9 goals and provided 6 assists in just 9 league games for PSV this season. He has 3 goals and 1 assists in just 2 Europa League games for the Dutch side.
Meanwhile, Spanish side Barcelona are keen on signing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford as a free agent next summer, according to Sport.
Rashford’s contract expires at the end of the current season but Manchester United have the option of extending it by another year.
It is not the first time Barcelona have been linked with Rashford, with the Spanish club said to admire his ‘versatility’.
Rashford came under scrutiny last season for scoring just five goals across all competitions, but has since rediscovered his form under manager Erik ten Hag.
The 24 year old forward has already netted five goals in all competitions so far and was named the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for September.
It remains to be seen, though, if Rashford is keen on a new challenge and keen on making the move abroad.
