Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Napoli forward Victor Osimhen as replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo next summer.

Osimhen’s agent, Oma Akatugba, has claimed the Nigerian striker wants to continue at Napoli despite interest from Manchester United.

Akatugba also claimed it will take more than €100million to sign Osimhen from Napoli.

“He wants to win at Napoli and do everything possible to bring trophies to Napoli, writing his name in the history of the Azzurri,” Akatugba told Calciomercato.it’s TV PLAY.

“Clearly, Victor attracts big European clubs, as happened for Lavezzi or Cavani. He has never expressed an interest in leaving, not even when Manchester United arrived: when he leaves, they will all be happy because there will be a lot of money in De Laurentiis’ account.”

With regards to the frontman’s €100m valuation, Akatugba explained: “I have changed my mind, right now it is not difficult to imagine that it is an affordable figure for several clubs and that De Laurentiis can sell him even at higher figures.”

Osimhen has four goals and an assist from eight matches in all competitions this season.
