Manchester United fans have mocked Paul Pogba and Frenkie de Jong after Juventus and Barcelona dropped out of the Champions League this week.

De Jong opted against joining Manchester United because he wanted to play Champions League football at Barcelona while Pogba left Manchester United for Juventus after his contract at Old Trafford expired in the summer.

In a twist of fate, United could face either Juve or Barca in the knockout round in February if Erik ten Hag’s side finish as group runners-up.
