Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford scored his 100th goal for Manchester United in the 1-0 victory over West Ham on Sunday.
After the game against West Ham, Rashford posted on his social media account: “100 goals for this special club! I’ve been here since I was 7 years old and came through every single age group and played on every single pitch.
“So I want to thank all the staff, my family, and teammates that have helped make this achievement possible.”
Rashford became just the 13th player in Manchester United’s history to surpass the 100-goal mark, and among the active players, only Ronaldo is ahead of him with 145 goals.
Rashford burst onto the scene in 2016 and announced his arrival with a brace on his United debut.
After struggling last season, Rashford has returned to form this season. He already has seven goals, which is two more than what he managed in the whole of 2021-22 season.
