Former Juventus boss reveals real reason why Manchester United let Paul Pogba leave easily

Former Juventus boss Luigi Maifredi believes Manchester United let Paul Pogba leave due to his injury problems.

Pogba is yet to make an appearance for Juventus this season since joining the Italian side as a free agent in the summer.

Pogba returned to training for Juventus last week from an injury he suffered during preseason but he has now suffered an injury setback.

Maifredi told TMW: “Behind the failure of the Juventus team there is also the poor performance of the transfer campaign. Then let’s face it, if Manchester gives away Pogba so easily, they must have [known] something. There are consequences for Juventus.”
