Manchester United will scout 20 year old Rennes and Ghana attacker Kamaldeen Sulemana at the 2022 World Cup, according to The Guardian via SportsMole.
The 20-year-old left Danish outfit Nordsjaelland in the summer of 2021 to sign for Bruno Genesio’s side, commanding a £13.5m fee in the process.
Sulemana’s time at Rennes has been blighted by injuries so far, but he has nevertheless managed to make an impact in the Rouges et Noir XI when fully fit.
Sulemana is expected to be named in the Ghana squad for the 2022 World Cup, having already made 12 appearances for his country and making their Africa Cup of Nations team.
Sulemana is under contract at Rennes until the summer of 2026, meaning Rennes can afford to demand a hefty fee to sanction the 20-year-old’s sale.
