According to German media outlet Bild, Bayern Munich striker Eric Choupo-Moting has rejected a potential move to Manchester United.
The Red Devils were reported seriously interested in signing the striker as a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo next summer.
Bild said: “Choupo is happy in Munich and very popular within the team. The club also wants to extend his contract, but the talks have been postponed until winter”.
Choupo-Moting has been in good form for Bayern Munich in recent weeks and has become an important player in Julian Nagelsmann’s side. He has scored three goals and provided two assists in Bayern Munich’s last three league games.
He has also scored three goals in the Champions League so far this season while also hitting the target twice in the DFB-Pokal against Augsburg.
