Manchester United have made signing a right-back in January as a priority for the club, according to media outlet Irish Independent.
Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot has played every game for Manchester United at right-back this season in all competitions while Aaron Wan-Bissaka is yet to start a game for the Red Devils.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is reportedly not a fan of Wan-Bissaka and wants the club to sign another right-back in January to provide competition to Dalot.
Meanwhile, Manchester United youngster Zidane Iqbal has named the four Manchester United stars he’s learning from during training.
“I’m learning every day, not just from the players but from the staff, the sports scientists, the nutritionists,” Iqbal told GQ magazine.
“I’m not just learning from one single player. Watching people like Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes.
“I learn a lot from them about how they play. I’m blessed to be surrounded by so many top-level athletes. In training, we do mini-games and everyone’s taking it seriously, everyone’s playing to win, it lifts the standard a lot.
“Licha [Lisandro Martinez] takes every training session like it’s his last. I’m learning things like giving it 100 per cent every single day, with the right mentality and attitude.
“I hope I can [become role model for players of his background]. However, I do know that I’m still young and still on my journey. All I can do is work hard and if I’m inspiring people along the way, then that’s great.”
