Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney sees some similarities between legendary former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson and current Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, according to Metro.

Rooney is said to see some of Ferguson in the way that Ten Hag operates, while his steely determination is similar to that of his former boss.

Rooney has been left impressed by Ten Hag after visiting Manchester United’s training ground on numerous occasions last month.

Rooney has been picking Ten Hag’s brain during the MLS off-season, as well as visiting Carrington to watch his sons in United’s academy.
