The Premier League will go on a break after this weekend due to the World Cup in Qatar later this month.

The Premier League will return to action on Boxing Day (December 26), which is just eight days after the World Cup final takes place on Sunday, December 18.

The resumption on Boxing Day on December 26th will mean that the Premier League will stop for a total of six weeks whilst the World Cup is held in Qatar.

Manchester United’s first game after the resumption of the Premier League is against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on December 27th.
