18 year old Alejandro Garnacho scored his first Premier League goal to secure a 2-1 victory over Fulham at Craven Cottage in Manchester United’s final game before the World Cup break.

Christian Eriksen scored in the 14th minute to give Manchester United the lead at Craven Cottage after steering home a wayward shot from Bruno Fernandes. It was Eriksen’s first Manchester United goal and his 150th senior career goal.

Eriksen missed a chance to double Manchester United’s lead in first-half stoppage time and give Erik ten Hag’s men a two-goal cushion.

Former Manchester United winger Daniel James equalised for Fulham on the hour mark after being expertly picked out by Tom Cairney.

With the momentum firmly with Fulham, Ten Hag took off Anthony Martial and brought on wonderkid Garnacho in the 72nd minute.

It proved to be an inspired substitution by Ten Hag as Garnacho struck a dramatic winner after a sharp one-two with Eriksen to give Manchester United all three points.

The issue of giving Elanga minutes instead of AG will make us lose more games.
