Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo met with Bayern Munich officials last week, according to Daily Mail.

The report claims Ronaldo and his agent, Jorge Mendes, met with Bayern last week after officials from the Bundesliga giants flew to England for talks.

Ronaldo is seeking a way out of Manchester United after falling out of favour at Old Trafford.

Bayern Munich considered a move for Ronaldo during the summer before opting out as he did not fit into their ‘philosophy’.

Bayern Munich were also reportedly reluctant to pay Ronaldo’s huge wages of £500,000-a-week after paying Liverpool £35million for Sadio Mane as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

However, Bayern have revived their interest amid concerns over Mane’s fitness and uncertainty over the future of Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting.

It is believed Ronaldo is desperate to play in the Champions League again after playing Europa League football with Manchester United in the first-half of the season.
