Manchester United co-owner Joel Glazer is set to have the final say on wantaway forward Cristiano Ronaldo’s future, after the Portuguese legend’s infamous interview, according to Daily Mail.
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag wants Ronaldo out of the club but it is Joel Glazer who will make the final decision on Ronaldo’s future at the club.
Ronaldo hit out at the Glazer family for not caring about the club while also saying he doesn’t respect Ten Hag because the Manchester United boss doesn’t respect him.
Ronaldo also stated that he had never even heard of former manager Ralf Rangnick before he took over at Old Trafford last season, and was critical of the club’s lack of technological advancement since his exit almost 13 years ago.
Manchester United issued a statement following the unsanctioned interview, which said: “Manchester United notes the media coverage regarding an interview by Cristiano Ronaldo. The club will consider its response after the full facts have been established.
“Our focus remains on preparing for the second half of the season and continuing the momentum, belief and togetherness being built among the players, manager, staff and fans.”
