Former Manchester United star David Beckham has made a sensational move to lure Cristiano Ronaldo to Inter Miami, according to The Sun.
Beckham, the owner of MLS club Inter Miami, has reportedly spoken with the representatives of Ronaldo and has been told Ronaldo is interested in moving to the MLS.
Manchester United are ready to cancel Ronaldo’s contract after his brutal criticism of the club in an interview with Piers Morgan and Inter Miami have been alerted by the potential availability of Ronaldo.
Ronaldo is reportedly also attracting interest from Inter Miami’s fellow MLS clubs LA Galaxy and LAFC.
Ironically, if Ronaldo joins Inter Miami, he would work under Phil Neville – brother of Gary – who was one of the former teammates that Ronaldo heavily slammed in his interview.
Bosses of the American league would also be delighted with the move as the profile of the sport continues to rise in the nation ahead of the 2026 World Cup, and the new TV deal signed with Apple that starts from the beginning of next season.
