Manchester United will push to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe as replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo, according to The Express.
The France international is thought to be unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain – despite signing a bumper contract extension back in May.
Mbappe was close to joining Real Madrid as a free agent in the summer before a last-minute change of heart saw him sign a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain.
Liverpool are also admirers of Mbappe but Jurgen Klopp has already conceded that they cannot finance a deal, while United are one of few clubs in world football that probably can.
Mbappe is set to decide his club future after the World Cup but there is a chance he could look to explore an exit as soon as January.
United are also said to be admirers of Victor Osimhen, while Harry Kane remains a player of huge interest.
