Manchester United star Marcus Rashford came off the bench to score England’s fifth goal in the 6-2 victory over Iran on Monday afternoon.
England were leading 4-1 when Rashford replaced Bukayo Saka after 79 minutes. The Man Utd man made an instant impact by scoring the Three Lions’ fifth goal.
Rashford was played in by Harry Kane, took a touch to control the ball, another to cut inside and a third to roll the ball past the goalkeeper.
Manchester United captain Harry Maguire and left-back Luke Shaw both started the game for England.
The other goalscorers for England were Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka (2 goals), Raheem Sterling and Jack Grealish.
Rashford will be hoping for more minutes on Friday when England take on the United States on Friday in Group B.
