Manchester United youngster Teden Mengi has revealed he is ready to leave the club on loan in January after recovering from a long-term injury that curtailed his spell at Birmingham last year.
The 20 year old defender suffered an injury in March while on loan at Birmingham City and only returned to action in October for the U21s, featuring in a 2-2 draw with Fleetwood in the Papa John’s Trophy ahead of a 7-6 penalty shoot-out loss
He has since played in three Premier League 2 matches and played in Tuesday’s penalties win over Wolves, again in the Papa John’s Trophy.
“Every game, I’m feeling fitter, stronger, sharper,” he told club media.
“So yeah, I think I’m standing myself in good stead for January, if the option comes up for me to get an opportunity to go out on loan and impress and get some more experience, then I’ll take it.”
