Erik ten Hag keen on signing player with 13 goals and 17 assists in 24 games in January. Ten Hag has made him a priority signing

According to to Foot Mercato via Sport Witness, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has made PSV forward Cody Gakpo a priority signing for January.

The Dutch forward is a key transfer target for Ten Hag in January after scoring 13 goals and providing 17 assists in 24 games this season.

PSV reportedly want €60million for the 23 year old forward but that price could rise if Gakpo continues to earn plaudits during the World Cup after scoring for Netherlands in their 2-0 win over Senegal.

Ten Hag is believed to be a big fan of Gakpo and ‘values’ the fact he can play up front, as a number ten or on either wing, something which has made the player a ‘priority’ signing for him.
