Cristiano Ronaldo takes Portugal team-mates out for dinner and foots the bill
Former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo took his Portugal teammates out for dinner at the recently opened Tatel de Doha restaurant on Al Maha Island, according to media outlet El Espanol via Daily Mail.
The 37 year old Portugal international, who is now a free agent after his Manchester United contract was cancelled, reportedly foot the bill.
It showed a spirit of unity within the team, with the only missing players being those with relatives in Qatar, such as Jose Sa, Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva, who decided to spend time with their loved ones.
United pair Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot were among those pictured with the squad on their night out.
Ronaldo reportedly has links with Tatel de Doha restaurant. The Tatel de Doha belongs to Mabel Hospitality, which has Ronaldo and tennis legend Rafael Nadal among others as partners of the company.
Ronaldo and his Portugal teammates were at the restaurant until 11.30pm before they were picked up by their national team bus.
