Revealed: Apple’s stance on buying Manchester United
Contrary to reports that emerged this week, tech giants Apple, worth £2trillion, aren’t interested in buying Manchester United.
The Glazer family, owners of Manchester United, put the club up for sale on Tuesday and reports linked Apple with an interest in acquiring Manchester United.
According to The Telegraph, reports linking Apple with an acquisition of Manchester United, thought to be valued by the Glazer family at around £6 billion, are wide of the mark.
Meanwhile, Saudi sport minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, told the BBC this week that he would be encouraging private Saudi investors to enter the race to buy Manchester United.
