Manchester United right-back Diogo Dalot has opened up on life under Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.

Dalot told MUTV: “The confidence that Erik ten Hag has given to me shows the work I’ve been doing as well. I’ve been trying to give it back to him since the beginning of the season.

“With him, we have a lot of space for improvement and he’s a manager that demands a lot from the players. This is the way I like to work, so I think it’s a good match and it just brings me more responsibility to keep improving.

“I’ve just tried to be fit [playing every game], doing what I can to recover well between games. I know this is a big, big season and a long season, with the schedule, there are a lot of games to cover.”
