‘I’d be surprised if he played for another club’ – Manchester United star backed to sign new contract
According to David Ornstein, Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is likely to sign a new contract with the club.
The England international’s current deal at Old Trafford is set to expire next summer, but the club is hoping he signs an extension.
Ornstein spoke about Rashford’s contract situation, saying on the Vibe with Five podcast: “I’d be surprised if he played for another club in the Premier League.
“You never know but it would shock me given he’s Man United through and through, and my suspicion is that he will end up signing a new contract there.”
It is expected that the 25-year-old is highly likely to sign a new deal with the club next year. Meanwhile, the club still have the option of activating a one-year extension on his current deal.
So far, he has scored 8 goals in all competitions for the Red Devils this season and has carried his fine form into the World Cup where he has scored three goals already.
