Pogba reveals this manager will still win titles with Manchester United

Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has affirmed United legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson would be successful if he was still coaching in this modern era of football.
When recently asked about Fergie, whom he fell out with before moving to Juventus the first time around, he compared him to Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and how different he was from the Spaniard.
“He wasn’t doing, it wasn’t the coach like you see now with Pep Guardiola that is more talking,” he told Field of Stories.
“No, he wasn’t like that. I think he had the staff and the players so he didn’t need to do that.”
When asked if Sir Alex would be successful in the today’s game, he replied: “If he has the staff and people and players (like he did), yes.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that the club have triggered one-year extension clauses in the contracts of World Cup stars Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Diogo Dalot and Fred.
They all had deals that were set to expire in June 2023, but in each case there was an option of an extra 12 months.
“Yes, I can confirm it,” Ten Hag told MUTV.
“We are happy because the squad is going in the right direction and those players [have] a massive contribution in that direction.”
