Man United make decision with Newcastle United ready to splash the cash on Man United star
Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
McTominay was a key player for the club under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick but that has changed since the arrival of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen last summer.
According to a report on CaughtOffside, Newcastle are interested in signing the Scottish international, but Manchester United have insisted he is not for sale during the January transfer window.
Despite his lack of minutes, McTominay is still considered an important player in the squad by Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.
McTominay’s last start for the club came in the 6-3 loss to Manchester City in October and has has since been used a late substitute on several occasions.
McTominay is an academy graduate and made his first-team debut under Jose Mourinho against Arsenal in the 2016/17 campaign.
