Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has explained why Newcastle United lost 2-0 to Manchester in the Carabao Cup final.

Howe said: “I thought we were really good between both boxes. But in the boxes is where games are won and lost.

“I thought we didn’t get the big moments right defensively and with the chances we did have, we weren’t clinical enough. It’s probably a similar feeling to the one that I’ve had in recent weeks.”
