Jamie Carragher accuses four Manchester United stars of ‘going missing’ against Liverpool

Jamie Carragher has accused four Manchester United stars of going missing during Sunday’s 7-0 defeat to at Anfield.
Speaking on The Gary Neville Podcast after the match, the Liverpool legend said: “The thing that really stood out for me is that there’s been a lot of players talked up as this team is getting built around them: the two centre-backs, Casemiro in front and [Marcus] Rashford at the top of the pitch.
“Rashford has got to score. You have to score that goal. What a chance that was, and the game is completely different.
“But to see [Lisandro] Martinez and Casemiro on the bench [after being subbed off] and Varane not covering himself in glory.
“I mean, I thought it was a really bad day for them. Not as players, we know they’re really good players, but in terms of the personality because that’s what they’re talked about.
“You can have a bad game, but I just thought they were lacking, they went missing in a lot of moments.”
