Manchester United suffered our worst defeat in history after losing 7-0 to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.

According to The Mirror, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag forced his humiliated Manchester United players to sit in silence and listen to Liverpool’s players celebrate their record 7-0 win over Manchester United.

Ten Hag reportedly made his Manchester United players listen to Liverpool’s players and fans celebrating in the stadium – and told them to use it as motivation to ensure they never capitulate so meekly again.

Ten Hag also slammed his Manchester United players for their shameful surrender at Anfield – United’s joint-heaviest defeat ever and the biggest since 1931.

Ten Hag told Manchester United players they were lucky to return to Manchester on the team’s bus rather than make the short journey home with the away supporters.

Ten Hag also warned his squad that a repeat thrashing would lead to them being forced to train with the club’s Under-21 team, and that they should expect to have more sessions with sports psychologist Rainier Koers to help them deal with the humiliation.
