Jadon Sancho has warned Manchester United about very special Southampton star
Jadon Sancho has already warned Manchester United to beware of “very special” Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia when both sides meet at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Sancho and Lavia progressed through the Manchester City ranks together and now face off as Manchester United host Southampton on Sunday.
Signed from Manchester City for an initial £10.5million at the start of the summer, Lavia’s impact at St Mary’s has been instant and impressive. Such was the youngster’s stellar start to life on the south coast, Chelsea reportedly tabled a deadline day offer worth £50m.
Reacting to Lavia’s impact at Southampton, Sancho said: “You stayed with your dream and you believed in yourself. That is inspiring to see. Keep doing your thing, brother. The world is at your feet. Very special player.”
