Manchester United star Marcus Rashford has been named Premier League Player of the Month for February – and in doing so has equalled a record set by Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.

This is Rashford’s third Player of the Month award for this season, after winning the award in September and January, and as a result he equals Salah’s record for most Player of the Month awards in a single season.

Rashford was named Player of the Month for February after scoring five goals in four games as United beat Crystal Palace, Leicester and Leeds, and also came from 2-0 to draw against Leeds United at Old Trafford.

Rashford won the accolade ahead of Fulham duo Bernd Leno and Manor Solomon, Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho, Tottenham’s Emerson Royal and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins.

In addition to Rashford’s award, Erik ten Hag was named Manager of the Month while David de Gea took home Save of the Month for his stop against Iheanacho in United’s 3-0 win over the Foxes.
