Manchester United are reportedly hopeful interest from Tottenham in goalkeeper Dean Henderson could boost the club’s pursuit of Harry Kane this summer.

Tottenham are seeking a long-term successor for captain Hugo Lloris, with the 36-year-old approaching the end of his time at the club and have identified Manchester United goalkeeper Henderson as an ideal replacement, according to ESPN via Daily Mail.

Henderson’s future at Old Trafford remains uncertain despite having a contract until 2025, which can be extended for a further year.

The 26-year-old admitted in September he had fallen behind other goalkeepers in the England set-up, following a lack of game-time at Man United last season.

Tottenham have also been linked with Brentford’s David Raya and Everton’s Jordan Pickford in their search for a new number one, despite the latter signing a new deal last month.

Should Tottenham Hotspur follow up on their interest in Henderson, United are reportedly hopeful this could boost the club’s pursuit of Kane this summer.
