Manchester United are set to beat Chelsea to the transfer of Watford left-back Harry Amass, according to Evening Standard.
Amass is thought to want a chance in a top academy to further his development and has chosen a move to Manchester United ahead of Chelsea.
The England Under-16s defender is in advanced talks with Manchester United, opting to leave Vicarage Road despite making the first-team squad in January at just 15 years old.
The 16 year old attacking left-back has long been one of the youngest regular starters in the Hornets Under-18s side under Charlie Daniels, currently eighth in the Professional Development League table after a run of defeats.
