Bruno Fernandes has suggested that Scott McTominay’s new role could be in attack after the midfielder scored two goals in six minutes for Scotland.

Scotland beat Cyprus 3-0 on Saturday with McTominay coming off the bench to score two late goals for Scotland.

The midfielder celebrated his country’s 3-0 win over Cyprus with a post on social media hailing it as a ‘good start’ to qualifying.

In reaction, Fernandes joked if the midfielder is now a striker.
