According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Austrian international midfielder Marcel Sabitzer will be happy to stay at Manchester United beyond this season.
Sabitzer joined Manchester United on loan from Bayern Munich in January and according to Romano, Bayern would’ve been a closed chapter for him if Julian Nagelsmann had remained in charge.
However, the latter has been dismissed, and new Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel is yet to decide whether he needs Sabitzer back.
Romano tweeted: “Marcel Sabitzer, very happy with Man United experience — player would be happy to stay with ten Hag.
“Loan deal doesn’t include buy option, it will be up to Bayern… and Tuchel now.
“His Bayern chapter was already closed with Nagelsmann. Decision time around May/June.”
