Manchester United star wanted by Saudi Arabia club

According to a report on Manchester Evening News, Manchester United defender Raphael Varane is attracting interest from Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad.

The report states: “Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad are ‘weighing up’ a move for United centre-back Raphael Varane, according to Italian journalist Rudy Galetti, as cited by Inside Futbol.

“A number of big-name Premier League players have swapped England for the Saudi league this summer and Varane is the latest name to be linked with a move.

“The Frenchman, however, is a key player for Erik ten Hag and scored the winner in last Monday’s 1-0 win over Wolves at Old Trafford.”
