Saudi Arabia club responds to interest in signing Mason Greenwood

Al-Ettifaq boss Steven Gerrard has responded to reports he is interested in signing Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood, according to Metro.

Gerrard took charge of the Saudi Pro League club last month and they are one of a number of teams linked with a move for Greenwood.

It was confirmed on Monday that Greenwood will leave Old Trafford.

Gerrard has rejected claims he is interested in signing Greenwood as he posted the Daily Mail’s version of the story on his Instagram story with ‘FAKE NEWS’ over the article in capital letters.
