The report states: “Erik ten Hag is set to be handed a contract extension after an impressive first year at United, according to the Daily Star.
“The Dutchman led his side to a third-placed finish and won the Carabao Cup last season, ending a six-year trophy drought.
“His current contract runs until 2025 but the Glazers are said to have already sanctioned talks over a two-year extension that could be on the table by the end of the year – even if the takeover isn’t complet by then.”
