Manchester United send Harry Maguire message to West Ham
According to the Times, Manchester United have blocked a fresh approach for Harry Maguire from West Ham United.
West Ham boss David Moyes had been open to reviving a deal for the England centre back, who rejected a permanent £30 million transfer to the east London club a fortnight ago.
But Manchester United have reportedly informed West Ham that Maguire will be staying at Manchester United this season.
Maguire’s move to West Ham collapsed after he had talks with United about a pay-off of about £5.2million to cover a shortfall in wages.
West Ham offered Maguire a contract worth about £120,000 a week, which was less than the £170,000 a week he earns at United, where he has two years left on his deal.
