Bayern Munich star Thomas Muller has reacted to having Manchester United in the same Champions League group.
Bayern and United were drawn together in Group A alongside FC Copenhagen and Galatasaray, setting up an early return to England for Harry Kane after he moved to the German giants from Tottenham over the summer.
“We are happy that the Champions League is starting again,” said Muller after the draw. “Prestigious duels and three clubs from top cities await us.
“Manchester United is a force in world football. In Erik ten Hag, they have a former Bayern Amateurs coach. Copenhagen and Galatasaray have exciting teams.
“The midweek games are the icing on the cake in our schedule.”
