Erik ten Hag hoping Manchester United star can return from injury sooner than anticipated
According to a report on Daily Mail via Tribal Football, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is hoping Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw will return from injury sooner than anticipated.
The report states: “Manchester United expect Luke Shaw to recover a little sooner than anticipated from injury.
“The Red Devils initially feared Shaw would be out for many months this season.
“However, The Mail states that Shaw is expected to be fit again in ten weeks, which could even be pushed to eight or nine weeks.
“That is why United backed away from a deal for Marc Cucurella from Chelsea, given the finances involved.
“They have instead gone for Sergio Reguilon of Tottenham, a player they tried to sign three years ago.
“Reguilon will come without any loan fee, but United will have to pay all his wages.”
