According to the Athletic via GOAL, Liverpool have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich to sign midfielder Ryan Gravenberch in a deal worth €40million.

The Netherlands international will fly to the England on Friday to complete a medical ahead of his €40m ($43m/£34m) signing.

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag was also keen on reuniting with the former Ajax midfielder at Old Trafford but the player now looks set to join Liverpool.

Gravenberch only joined Bayern from Ajax last summer but is keen to leave the German champions in search of regular first-team football.

He started three Bundesliga matches for Bayern last season and has so far featured only once as a substitute in the 2023-23 campaign, against Augsburg last Sunday.
