Why Chelsea decided against signing £73million Manchester United star

Chelsea reportedly considered signing Jadon Sancho from Manchester United during the summer transfer window but turned down the opportunity despite the out of favour winger being made available for a cut-price fee.

Manchester United signed Sancho from Borussia Dortmund two years ago for £73million but the England winger has struggled to live up to expectations.

Manchester United were reportedly willing to sell Sancho for £45million during the summer transfer window.

According to Daily Mail, Chelsea considered signing Sancho this summer but were concerned about his mindset and went for Manchester City’s Cole Palmer instead.
