Jadon Sancho set to have clear the air talks with Ten Hag over his future at the club
According to the Telegraph, Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has scheduled a ‘face-to-face’ talk with disgruntled forward Jadon Sancho on Monday at the Carrington training centre.
Following the 3–1 defeat at Arsenal earlier this month, the Dutchman stated that the England international was dropped from the squad due to his poor performance in training.
The player was offended by the comments and quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) account to deny the claims made by the Dutch tactician. He went further to defend his performance and suggested that he had been made a ‘scapegoat’.
The Englishman has failed to live up to expectations since moving to Old Trafford in a big-money move from Borussia Dortmund two years ago. He was linked with a summer move to Saudi Arabia, but it failed to materialise.
Hopefully, talks between the player and Erik ten Hag would calm down tensions and see the player back in the United fold.
