Manchester United ready to break the bank to sign £100m-rated Premier League striker
Manchester United are ready to splash the cash to sign Brighton & Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson for a club-record fee.
The 18-year-old has been impressive for the Seagulls since his breakthrough last season. He recently netted a stunning hat-trick against Newcastle United.
Reports from Manchester Evening News claim the Seagulls could sell him for a huge fee next year.
The United hierarchy are ready to break the bank to sign Ferguson during next summer’s transfer window as they plan to play him alongside Rasmus Hojlund.
The club will need to pay £100 million to sign him, but face competition from the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur for the youngster, who signed a new contract this year.
