Manchester United sign 20-year-old free agent as final summer signing
According to Manchester Evening News, Manchester United have signed young goalie Kie Plumley, who was released by Oxford United at the end of last season.
The youngster never made a first-team appearance for the League One outfit, but enjoyed loan spells at Weston-super-mare and Beaconsfield to aid his development into senior football.
The 20-year-old who is a self-proclaimed boyhood United fan, will now be looking to showcase his abilities in the reserves and hopefully, progress into Erik ten Hag’s squad.
Plumley has been registered on United’s eligible under-21 players in our final Premier League squad list, but is not expected to play for the first team anytime soon.
