Manchester United goalie Andre Onana insists the reason he joined the club is to win games, and not necessarily to showcase his ball-playing ability.
The Cameroonian is widely-known for his ball-playing ability. However, he has come under scrutiny and also being criticised for conceding 10 goals in his five Premier League games.
Here’s his response to the backlash he has faced recently.
“I don’t think I am here because I am only good with my feet! The most important thing is the team and to win,” he said.
“If the team needs me with my feet, I will be good with my feet. But if we are playing with a low block, I am a goalkeeper first to save balls.
“I am very confident that things will be alright. I am looking forward to tomorrow. I am very confident and excited.”
