Star striker reveals why he joined Bayern Munich over Manchester United

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane insists Bayern Munich was always the right choice for him despite reported interest from Manchester United during the summer.

The England captain who moved to the Allianz Arena in a €100m deal has said joining the Bavarians was too exciting to turn down.

“Obviously, over the summer I know there were some talks between a few clubs in the background, but Bayern were a team I was really interested and excited by,” Kane said ahead of facing Manchester United.

Kane converted from the spot to score Bayern Munich’s third goal as they defeated United 4-3.
